Dr. Raghab P. Dash has been working in Rajya Sabha Secretariat,Parliament of India for the last nearly 30 years. He has handled the Research and Information Service in the Rajya Sabha Secretariat besides the Parliamentary Committees. Substantively serving as Joint Secretary in the Rajya Sabha Secretariat, he is currently on deputation as Advisor-I, in AICTE under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.During his career, Dr. Dash has served the two Vice-Presidents of India, Shri Krishan Kant and Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat. He had also served as Private Secretary to the Minister, MSME, Government of India. Combined with his long experience in serving the Legislature Secretariat,his tenure in the Government has given him rare insights into varied facets of the functioning of the Government. Dr. Raghab Dash has keen academic interest in the functioning of Parliament in particular, the working of the Parliamentary Committees with regard to public policies and governance. A regular faculty at Parliamentary Research and Training Institute for Democracies (PRIDE) and Institute for Constitutional and Parliamentary Studies (ICPS), he shares his knowledge and experience with the Members of the State Legislatures, officers on probation, officers during the mid-career training, students and interns on varied facets of the legislature and executive relations. He has done his Doctoral Research from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
