All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India holding a competition “AICTE-Vishwakarma Awards-2019” for the students and institutes of AICTE approved institutions.
AIM:To encourage and motivate young students and institutions to raise their performance in their specific domains leading to significant contribution towards the growth and development of the nation as a whole.
OBJECTIVE:To recognize and honour the innovative work of the students displaying exceptional skills in different categories.

CATEGORY OF AWARDS
Category-I:Chhatra Vishwakarma Awards for Outstanding Innovative Team(Students & Mentor).
Category-II : Utkrisht Sansthan Vishwakarma Award for exemplary Institutional intervention.
Category-I : Under Chhatra Vishwakarma Awards, students team need to provide an innovative solution to How to enhance the income of Villages through intervention of Technology/Management practice(s). Under this, students can select any of the following Sub -Themes :-
1) Livelihood;
2) Waste Management;
3) Crop Waste Management (parali/para etc.) ;
4) Value Addition of Rural Handicraft and Agro Industry;
5) Farm and Flock
6) Water;
7) Land;
8) Energy.
Category-II : Under Utkrisht Sansthan Vishwakarma Award, an institute working towards “How to enhance the income of Village” and have achieved measureable outcomes/ provided solutions by necessary intervention for meeting the Aspirations of Rural Society in Sustainable Manner are allowed to send their nominations.
