About the Cell
The RTI Cell, AICTE(HQ) is headed by the central Public Information Officer (CPIO), who ensures timely reply of all the applications under Right to Information Act, 2005 (online and offline), which are received in the RTI Cell. The RTI Cell also co-ordinates with all the Bureaus/Cells in the AICTE (HQ) and also all the Regional Offices of AICTE, so as to ensure timely reply to the RTI applicants and appeals. The CPIO also attends all the hearings in the Central Information Commission (CIC) as and when filed by the appellants.Roles & Responsibilities
- Timely disposal of all RTI matters.
- Effective Monitoring/Tracking of RTI matters within the organization.
- Proper coordination with CIC and other organizations in matters related to RTI.
