Reforms in tech institutes by 2019: AICTE chairman
CHANDIGARH: All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) chairman Anil Sahasrabudhe on Tuesday said that the reforms, including the open book examination, mandatory internships and training programmes, for faculty members across all technical institutions in the country would be implemented from 2019. However, he said that it would take around three years for this. He was speaking on the sidelines of platinum jubilee celebrations of the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS) here on Tuesday.

“Institutes located in the interiors with as many as 300-400 seats, started with an aim to cater to the educational needs of students in remote locations are on the verge of closing down, despite their best efforts. Boot Camp for Women-Led Startups
The Canada-India Accelerator Program is making sure Canada’s startups will be part of its growth. Delivered through Carleton University’s Canada-India Centre of Excellence, the program will send 10 women-led startups from across Canada to India for up to three months in early 2019.
